THE ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK OF POMPEII REOPENS TO THE PUBLIC ON TUESDAY, MAY 26!

After the forced closure on March, caused to the Covid pandemic situation, the archaeological park of Pompeii reopens its gates from today 26 of May.

In order to give the possibility to visit safely the ruins there will be an experimental phase of two weeks where visitors, with a fixed undirectional route and respecting the social distancing, can visit some of the most important places and monuments of the ancient city (here you can see the opened buildings -> http://pompeiisites.org/en/houses/ ).

ENTRANCE AND EXIT:

The only available entrance is from Porta Anfiteatro and the only exit will be from Piazza Porta Marina Inferiore (or Piazza Esedra) following the unidirectional route indicated on the site.

OPENING HOURS:

From Tuesday to Sunday (Closed on Mondays) the ruins open at 9 a.m. and close at 7 p.m. (the last entrance is at 5.30 p.m.).

ENTRANCE TICKETS:

The Entrance tickets can only be purchased online on the official website www.ticketone.it, here you will able to choose the type of ticket (full price, reduced and free) and the entry time slot (scheduled every 15 minutes with a maximum of 40 people per slot).

The ticket purchased online must be presented at the entrance (e-ticket or printed ticket are accepted) and the same ticket will be necessary to exit from Piazza Porta Marina Inferiore.

The special price, from 05/26/2020,  is €5.00 (admission cost of €2.00 for EU citizens between the ages of 18 and under 25)

THERE WILL BE THE MEASUREMENT OF THE BODY TEMPERATURE OF ALL VISITORS WITH A TERMOSCANNER AND THERMAL CAMERA
